- As a member of Double T Farm, your commitment to us creates a secure market for our products and as such will directly share with us in the risks & rewards of each season's yield. The farmer does all he can to assure a full havest, and be aware that some conditions are beyond the farmer's control. Some years are awesome, some average, some slightly below average. We have not had any catastrophies, but be advised its always possible with something like a major hurricane. Drought and extreme temperatures are usually our biggest concern. By taking a vested interest in our farm, you become much more connected to the people that help sustain you and your family.
- We expect our members to pick up their shares at their chosen location during the designated time. If for some reason they cannot, we ask to be notified ASAP by logging into our system, by phone, or email. Members can also ask a neighbor or friend to pick up if they cannot. We do not offer refunds for unclaimed weekly shares. Refunds for certain hardships may be granted on a case by case basis and may require up to 30 days to process. Reasons like "its too far to drive" or "its not convenient" are not considered valid. Days, times, and locations are clear and it is the responsibility of the member to decide how this fits (or doesn't) into their schedule. 25 weeks is a long season!
- Shares are paid for in full or in installments at the beginning of the season. Members agree to pay their account in a timely manner & keep their membership information up-to-date.
- We use Farmigo to manage our members' accounts. This includes sign-up, payment, contact info, pickup locations, share information, and email. Members are given a login & password and are expected to update their own information as changes occur. It is the customers responsibility to learn how to use the system, however we will be glad to help initially, should you need it.
- Email is our primary form of communication with members. It is important that all members check their mail for weekly updates & notices. Email address changes are the responsibility of members through the Farmigo system.
